Jerry Mintz and Daniel Sage - Home-Schooling, Unschooling and Teenage Liberation

Jerry Mintz is the founder and director of the Alternative Education Resource Organization (AERO) and a prominent figure in the alternative school movement in the US.

Additionally to his seventeen years as a school principal and teacher, he has helped found more than fifty public and private alternative schools and organizations.

He is the author of No Homework and Recess All Day: How to Have Freedom and Democracy in Education, and editor of several other alternative education titles.

Daniel Sage is an aspiring singer/songwriter and musician who was mentored by Mintz after leaving the public school system at age thirteen, and educated according to the philosophy and methods known as unschooling.

He was recently a speaker on the subject of the Natural Intelligence paradigm at the Annual International Bioethics Forum in Wisconsin, USA.

Powell is an advocate for the transformative potential of psychedelics such as psilocybin mushrooms and in this podcast speaks of how they initiated and propelled his own work.
