Anthony Peake - A Life of Philip K. Dick: The Man Who Remembered The Future

Oct 20, 2013 by Martin Higgins

Anthony Peake is a consciousness theorist and perhaps the ideal candidate to write A Life of Philip K. Dick: The Man Who Remembered the Future, a new biography of a novelist obsessed with probing the nature of reality.

Peake’s book attempts to put Dick’s visionary experiences into a wider context, advancing the notion that Dick’s imagination might truly have been a precognitive gateway to the future. Peake’s biography is the first to follow the publication of the Exegesis, Dick’s own eight year attempt to write himself into an understanding of his experiences.

Terms you will hear in this interview include: “ITLADian” which acronymically refers to Peake’s first book, Is There Life After Death, and denotes his philosophy of consciousness, which he has been developing through several books; “The Daemon” relates to the theory of the higher self, a separate consciousness that may potentially exist within, and / or communicate with, the normal waking consciousness of the self.

Graham Nicholls - Navigating the Out of Body Experience

Aug 8, 2013 by Martin Higgins

Graham Nicholls claims to have experienced hundreds of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) since his first spontaneous one at twelve years old. Over the years he has sought to hone the art in his efforts to increase the number of his own experiences and their attainability for others. Graham has for several years offered one-on-one coaching and in 2012 published Navigating the Out of Body Experience, detailing his techniques alongside an exploration of the science and philosophy of the area, as well as what to expect from an experience.

In the podcast, Graham discussed the idea of the OBE as taking place within “the extended mind”; his holistic, multi-disciplinary approach; the psychological and energetic benefits; the interviewer’s own experiences with OBEs, influencing his novel, Human+; the three main impediments to having an experience; Graham’s telepathy experiments with Rupert Sheldrake; and veridical evidence for OBEs.
