Jerry Mintz and Daniel Sage - Home-Schooling, Unschooling and Teenage Liberation

Jerry Mintz is the founder and director of the Alternative Education Resource Organization (AERO) and a prominent figure in the alternative school movement in the US.

Additionally to his seventeen years as a school principal and teacher, he has helped found more than fifty public and private alternative schools and organizations.

He is the author of No Homework and Recess All Day: How to Have Freedom and Democracy in Education, and editor of several other alternative education titles.

Daniel Sage is an aspiring singer/songwriter and musician who was mentored by Mintz after leaving the public school system at age thirteen, and educated according to the philosophy and methods known as unschooling.
